Yep, the franchise is easy money. Despicable Me 2 and 3 and both Minions movies were billion dollar grossers at the box office alone, not to mention the merchandise.
All together that's the 15th highest grossing movie franchise of all time, and it's from only 5 movies since 2010. That average worldwide gross is insane.

I'm going to go watch this (and totally love it) and then spend hours reading books about the actual WWII mission itself no matter how much it departs.
Just looked this up, but I had no idea her father was a French billionaire industrialist type.
Yeah, I was surprised a few years ago when I saw her at the top of a list ranking the net worth of "famous heiresses", ahead of Paris Hilton, among others.

I'm going to have to rewatch some of the old Seinfeld gags with this new perspective on here. They make a lot of jokes about class/wealth, I wonder if there are small in jokes about Louis-Dryfus being the heir to a billionaire.
