Yep, the franchise is easy money. Despicable Me 2 and 3 and both Minions movies were billion dollar grossers at the box office alone, not to mention the merchandise.

JLD needs an Oscar. Post Seinfeld (which was obviously good) I've found everything she's done to be incredible.

That said I will not be watching the parrot movie as it looks like it may destroy me. Can we just give the Oscar based off the trailer?

Yeah, I was surprised a few years ago when I saw her at the top of a list ranking the net worth of "famous heiresses", ahead of Paris Hilton, among others.

I'm going to have to rewatch some of the old Seinfeld gags with this new perspective on here. They make a lot of jokes about class/wealth, I wonder if there are small in jokes about Louis-Dryfus being the heir to a billionaire.
