My first thought on seeing one in Vancouver was it looked like a high school shop project, flat easy to weld surfaces are a hall mark of home made POS's
Basically it reminded me of Top Gear

They are definitely not the kind of car that looks better with customizations and wraps of any kind. The whole design ethos relies on the that industrial fridge look.
When they are blacked out, they just look like they are dirty. Your kitchen fridge wouldn't look good lifted or with a purple ting, and neither does a cybertruck.
I don't have much truck using experience, but if these things can actually function as a truck, a lot would be forgiven. Based on what I've seen, I can't see how that tiny and low walled flat bed would have any function though. If these things can do anything an F150 can, they definitely have a purpose and their design is actually more compact than your standard pickup truck. If the truck function is a fail, you're left with the worst of both worlds and you'd clearly be better off with an SUV.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Saw two Cybertrucks today; one had a white advertising wrap sitting in the parking lot of that ZR auto on 32nd ave NW. The other I drove by on Country Hills dr. Both were just big ugly junks. They just look stupid.

I'm in California right now and have seen a bunch, and yeah they're just hideous vehicles.
I was parked opposite one for a bit earlier today while waiting in my car at a grocery store. And without exaggeration, every single one of the 5-6 people/groups of people I saw walk by it looked like they had to contain their laughter. Definitely an attention getter, but maybe not in the way that most owners were hoping for when they shelled out $100K for them.
It’s just a genuinely ugly, poorly made vehicle that isn’t functional. I’m not sure it has a single redeeming quality, and certainly none that a better made, better looker, or more functional vehicle doesn’t do significantly better (usually all three, and in every case at a lower price point). It is as much of a joke in person as the reputation that precedes it, and I honestly feel embarrassed for the people who own one. All that money and not a lick of taste to go with it.

It's kind of like all Teslas though, you are dropping 60 or 70 grand for a car that looks like a mazda 3, they are all just either plain or plug ugly cars
