Charlie taking a MTO deep in set 2.
Edit: Charlie retires in the second set tie-break.

Damn I'm getting worried about Charlie, he should shut it down for the year. He's a competitor so he's going to attempt Turin and Davis Cup but honestly I'm worried it will do more harm at this point.

Hopefully it's nothing too serious, but on that very last point you could see that he was very tentative and didn't even try to stretch to get a racket on the ball.

Djokovic is playing this match against Musetti like he's got a dinner reservation that he needs to make.

Musetti up a break in set 2 and this turnaround really came out of nowhere.
Edit: Back on serve in set 2.

I think Novak just got bored and lost focus, then he got angry with himself and took care of business. 6-0 6-3 were the set scores.

I'm a little worried about today's match, Rune has been playing great tennis and will be motivated to avenge the loss to Felix in Basel. The boys are warming up, let's go Felix!!
Edit: Good hold by Felix to get things started.

Rune breaks Felix's second service game as he misses an easy putaway down 30-40.

Felix has looked very shaky. I think his Mario invincibility star may have worn off.

These last two games have been very good from Felix, though. That said, they have had to be as Rune's level is incredible thus far.

The announcers I'm listening to are really lambasting Felix for his 2nd serve placement and... yeah they're kind of right. Every time, right in the middle, and it's getting destroyed.

That Rune two-handed backhand is lethal and just zips through the court. Holger serving for the opening set at 5-4.

Rune takes the opening set 6-4. Felix with just a few too many unforced errors and needs to hope that we see a dip from the Dane. 89% first serve percentage from Holger, I mean that's pretty much unsustainable.

Yep, lots of other players have run into Felix recently on a form that is basically unplayable, and now the shoe is on the other foot. Turns and roundabouts.
It's the 90% first serve thing that's amazing.

That Rune forehand isn't too shabby either.

Well, that's likely the match as Felix is now down a double break. Might have to dip deep to avoid the bagel/breadstick.

Holger takes it 6-4 6-2. Felix was on fumes, but take nothing away from Rune, the way he played today was incredible. If he plays the same way in the final on Sunday, he's going to win this tourney.
