Ours went down/stayed the same. As did many others. Especially for people working for companies that self insure (the large corporations). Some went up. Some of those went up because they were paying zero before and had to get some. Some went up because in some areas a lot of high risk people came on board. Almost all actual scientific based literature believe it did slow the rate of increase. There was never a chance of stopping the increase given it's controlled by profit margins and insurance lobbies.

It's a complex issue that can be solved pretty easily if americans weren't brainwashed to believe certain things were communist and a way out for lazy people to continue being lazy on someone elses dime. A certain thing they already put more public money per capita into that any other country (exclude switzerland). A thing a very large number of people don't actually recognize as being socialized medicine because stupid/uneducated.

I don't read his responses that way. He is saying Human's Caused, consequences of warming difficult to predict, need to do something, we should keep a seat at the table, problem needs to be addressed globally.

Okay, I'm just saying I'm pretty sure I heard him say 'inconclusive' a couple times.

In the past, Tillerson has articulated a more nuanced position on climate change than other Trump cabinet nominees. He repeatedly has acknowledged the potential consequences of climate change and the impact of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere, but has questioned the reliability of climate models and suggested humanity has bigger problems to tackle.

If that's the most liberal position from a Republican then that's pretty sad. Baby steps, I guess.

The video, uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday and apparently filmed on 1 January, is the first public sign of life of the two teachers since their abduction.

Kevin King, 60, an American, and Timothy John Weeks, 48, an Australian, were violently kidnapped on 7 August outside the campus of the American University of Afghanistan where they both taught.

so far it's been very effective in removing some of the shine on the actual content of the press conference.
