Home phone - linked to waaaay too many accounts and services be it medical, bank-related, school(s), family and grandparents and friends, etc... Maybe I gotta go ultra cheap VOIP to keep it alive, for now.
TV... streaming a bunch of shows. some PVR'ing. Really not big TV watchers. Maybe time to cut the cord and go pure Internet and stream everything via netflix and roku. What else is there that'll help me/us still watch some shows such as a comedy series here and medical drama there?
I hear you on the home phone, for us its that we have kids and always want a phone at home. Outside of 1-2 family members, it receives zero calls.
As for the TV, I say go for it and cut it. You can pay stream (netflix, amazon, disney +, apple, etc) but there is also decent free options. Kanopy (via the library here in Calgary), CBC you can watch any station across the country, Pluto TV just watched (lots of shows, just with ads) etc.
RGMG that neither CFP semi final is on network TV. I had planned to watch both games, now I need to scramble to figure out how. FFs, they are not even in TSN main feed.
yep it's crazy and also RGMG cos I didn't fill yesterday when I had the chance and today HAD to fill. faaaaaaaahk. I suppose it should be obvious that prices escalate towards a long weekend, just like they seem to in the summer during all the other long weekends. oh wait, that's just perception and coincidence.

I know it’s been mentioned in here before, but holy hell are those Bluetooth speakers annoying in public settings. Took the kids to the ODR and two teenagers had the speaker just blasting terrible rap music. Fair enough if they were out there by themselves, but there were a couple young families out on the ice too. I was definitely hoping the speaker would get taken out by an errant puck.
