Medvedev only needs to serve bot for one more set and he's got it. Djokovic hasn't quite able to take away the legs.

The thing I find most noticeable about watching a Medvedev match is how little time he takes between serves. It's like, fault, okay, get the ball out of the court I'm already in my service motion.

I don't know about instant disqualification but skipping the warning I'd be okay with.

Novak needs to get rid of those Vancouver Canucks colors, he's gotten away with it until now, but you know you can't close in that kit

Medvedev is going even faster between his first and second serves. Probably helps keep his service rhythm high that way.

They're needs to be more serious implications, whatever that looks like. That's just my take. What do you tell aspiring young athletes (regardless of sport) who witness that garbage? It's okay to smash your equipment because you're not doing well or are angry, blah....

Racquet smashes are funny, won't ever think otherwise.

I'd be far more in favour of serious consequences for the people who yell before serves. If you do that more than once, you should be out of the arena and banned from attending in the future.

Medvedev looked nervous closing that out, hopefully we don't see it in the third set.

Oh my, just a terrible shot by Medvedev and an even worse shot by Djokovic.

Yup, along with those people who clap and cheer between first and second serves. Davis Cup is the exception.

Yeah the thing I don't get here is how badly Djokovic is volleying.

Djoker coming to the net on poor approach sets is not the answer.

I think I'd still say this is more Medvedev playing well then Djokovic playing poorly, but it does seem the pressure is getting to Novak, so many simple mistakes today.

That last service game by Medvedev certainly looked like both players were feeling pressure

Woof on that last one that gave Medvedev a double break. This match is done like dinner.

That was 2021 FO semi final level volley miss by Djokovic. This is pretty much done.

So much for calendar slam and 21. So close, but no history this time.

Incredibly difficulty task to pull off. Who knows when we'll see the next player to pull it off.
