Interesting. I'll be heading to the airport around that time this afternoon. Where should I be looking if I want to watch it come in?

She'll be coming in from Washington state so I'd assume they'll take the west runway. Forecast calls for winds out of the south, so I'd guess they'll arrive from the north and land on runway 17R.

ETA time pushed back to 1910. Could arrive in that sweet golden light.

Unless you know what to look for, it looks the same as a regular WestJet plane. Differences are somewhat negligible. Wavy engines and weird looking tailcone are the easiest things to spot.

Looking like WestJet is shooting for arrival of the MAX around 1510 today. Still no flight plan active for it yet. Oh and the second MAX may arrive at 1710.

Booya, that flight plan just went active for 8964. Still showing the 1511 eta.

Wrong settings on my camera as it caught me a bit off guard and I didn't have time to really setup. But it works.

Noticeably quieter than an NG. Slightly different tone... it sounds like a broken NG approaching at idle.

Active winglets! Which are interesting because they don't require spar or wing reinforcing to cope with increased wing loadings.
