I never said it was condoned in the first place. I said there is a prevalent attitude amongst the younger Hutterite guys that there is nothing wrong with it.
Trust me, I KNOW a lot about the Hutterites.

Nope....religion.
Sorry, racist wasn't really the proper term. Not sure what is. Poor stereotyping maybe??

5 people = 15,000 pigs.

There are a lot of people with that last name.
Walter, Waldner, Wollman....Hutterite last names are often a like. Doesn't mean they're related though.

I think referring to Hutterites as a Hute is more derogatory.

Or Manitoba. Washington has Wollman's too. Same with parts of Montana, North/South Dakota.
Some spell it with two n's....some with one. Never figured that out.

Well, I also happen to personally know a lot of his relatives, and the attitude I described above hasn't passed him by. Even in his later years.
The defense would be pretty dumbfounded if all those that actually know the guy would stand up and give account of what type of person he is.

Actually quite interesting to hear that. I know people also that know him. I've heard a lot of rumors, and I take it for granted that that's all they are. My personal opinion though is he's guilty as sin, regardless of past religion, present or whatever. Lock him up for a long time, if for nothing else, lack of any obvious friggin remorse. He makes me ill.

When? I thought that was in proposed bill but it hasn't been passed (or come into effect) yet. Am I mistaken?

If that's all he gets, this may be closed off otherwise I'd expect Dur to launch appeals and retrials, so the victims families have to go through this over and over.

Are you serious?
What the heck takes so long with these things? A month to figure out the punishment?

Yeah, Der is looking for a suspended sentence, or 2-3 year house arrest, or 2 years less a day<if the judge deems jail necessary>.
"No one in the world would be a more cautious driver then my client. After this indecent..."
Perhaps he should have been more cautious when suicide passing tanker trucks, speeding through the city, and throwing his "water bottle" in the back of the mixer. No one may have been able to take the stand against him.
