^ I think you need to have a little talk with your Mommy and Daddy, They shouldn't be allowing you to watch this show. Dexter ia a "Big People's" program and might give you scary dreams if you watch it.

Rita turns out to be just as dark as Dexter and they all live happily ever after.

This Christine thing is bugging the hell out of me, maybe I'm just in denial of being wrong.
But I have a couple of points (in white below)
1) It bothered me that Deb gave her the gears for being at the crime scene so fast, how was it fast? Quinn was the first one there, all the police and fire trucks, paramedics had already been there and gone with Deb..this doesn't make sense to me.
2) Lundy looked "shocked" when he saw the shooter, the kind of shock that says he recognized who he was looking at.
3) The shooter stepped over Lundys body after removing his wallet and watch. You can clearly see the shooter was wearing very large mens boots and the black gloves looked too large for a girl the size of Christine as well. Why would she wear boots 5 sizes too big for her at a killing
There you have it, they have two shows left to prove me wrong as who I said it was from the beginning

1) Deb talked to her and found out she lived 50 minutes across town and was on the scene 20 minutes after the call hit the police scanner. Since it was 5 in the morning, Deb asked how she was there so fast, Christine told her she was on her way to the gym but she was wearing her work clothes and her hair and makeup were done.
2) The reporter did a story on Lundy in the paper. I assume she had interviewed him for that story.
3) This might be a legit point, but showing small women's shoes and hands would have signalled that it wasn't Trinity, which we all believed for a while.

1) Or someone "else" called her
2) I can't find an episode where they met or were even in the same area, a few times it was close but suspiciously they miss each other.
3) Never once did I believe it was Trinity, Quinn was and still is my suspect.
Even know it doesn't look good for me being right

Wow. This season just keeps getting better and better. That was an insane episode.
I knew eventually Batista and Laguerta would get caught.
GTF, I'm not sure what you mean by what Dexter walked in on.

Not a lot of action in this one, other than Christine blowing her brains out. Kind of a lulling episode; the calm before the storm. I definitely have really high expectations for the finale.
Predictions for the big twist?
I'm going to say Deb finds out about the Dexter - Laura Moser - Ice Truck Killer connection, but that isn't actually the twist. It's gotta be something bigger, even more shocking. I'm thinking a recurring character is going to be killed off -- maybe Cody dies at the hands of Trinity. or Harrison.

Hello, Dexter Morgan
that right there is one of the best scenes in this entire series, right behind Dexter watching TV as his bodies are discovered in Season 2. i can't even fathom what they're gonna do for the finale

I must have missed something. Stan the Man was confirmed by Dexter to have killed?

I believe the only explanation given was that he went free because of evidence to do with DNA on the crowbar he used to kill.
Once again Dexter did act hastily but I'm guessing that storyline isn't coming back and that Stan was guilty.

Yes he killed a prostitute but got off because there was a problem with the chain of custody with the crowbar he used to beat her.

Lots and lots of possibilities for the major twist at the end - Debra's discovery of Dexter would be awesome; Rita turning out to be dark would be interesting...; Harrison/Cody being killed by Trinity would be a disappointing twist.
My thought/hope - Debra starts getting a little suspicious of Dexter at the end, Trinity is killed by Dexter but just as Dexter thinks he's dodged a bullet and the episode seems wrapped up, Dexter discovers the remains of dead animals leading him to believe that Cody/Astor may have a dark passenger him/herself, which sets the table for next season - how Dexter approaches Cody/Astor's compared to how Harry dealt with him. I think this might fly because of the abuse that Cody/Astor witnessed from their father?
Anyways, very very good season.

I really don't think they're going to do a Cody/Astor with a dark passenger storyline. A show about a serial killer is one thing. A show about a child serial killer is something else entirely. Too much taboo. Plus the children have always played a minor role - they're supporting cast. Through his interaction with them and Rita we learn something new about Dexter. The show is called 'Dexter' not dexter&son.

Fair enough. Although other characters have played a supporting role but then have grown to be more important to Dexter's character. It would be taboo, but I think it would open up a great dynamic.

The show is also not called dexter&dad. It's as valid of a development as having ghost-dad.

I think the next logical step is for someone to find out Dexter's secret, or at least get close to him. This time, unlike with Doakes, it'll have to be someone Dexter loves like Rita or Deb so that he can't just get rid of them.
I could definitely see Trinity threatening Dexter's family. Maybe he'll be separated next season (Rita will leave him because she knows the secret or her/her kids will be harmed by Trinity) and a more lone wolf Dex will return.
