Williams is such an amazing waste of talent. He should shut up and catch the damn ball.

Williams is a chump... saying that he prefers Kitna because he takes blame for everything? That's the reason why Williams will never be mentioned in the same sentence as any legit #1 receiver.

Also in Williams defense he did manage to spend all his time blaming everyone around him in both Detroit and Cleveland. I'm glad he found a place he can do well, but he was a bit of a bedwetter in Detroit.

Give me a break. Williams' words aren't even a fraction of the kind of things that T.O. and Ocho Cinco do and they're considered legit #1 receivers. I think Roy Williams is possibly the most underrated playmaker in the league.

Really? Chad Johnson is second in the league in receiving yards behind Moss. I think TO should be run from the league and is really only good for 6-7 game stretches before imploding.
As for underrated... I dont think any WR from Detroit can have that label... theyre more accustom to the "bust" or "overrated" labels.

Roy Williams stats -
2006 Season
Rec - 82
Rec Yds. - 1310
TDs - 7
Avg - 15.9
2007 season (projected)
Rec - 93
Rec Yds - 1356
TDs - 10
Avg - 14.5
Career totals (3 seasons)
Rec - 210
Rec Yds - 3238
TDs - 26
Avg - 15.4
Those are elite numbers for a 4th year WR who has played with some pretty crappy QBs. His career average is higher than Harrison, Owens, Johnson, Smith, and Wayne. And he's put up these numbers with significantly less talent around him than these other guys.

He's got talent, but I think he's throwing Garcia under the bus unnecessarily. I would love to see Williams on a legit franchise to see what he can really do. With a solid group around him (QB and a running game) he could be deadly. But, he plays for Detroit and that's going to kill him until he can move. But, I dont think he's underrated... at all.
Good stats though - thanks, I didnt think he was quite that high.

I don't know if it's throwing Garcia under the bus. He was asked his opinion and he gave it. I like Roy because he always answers questions honestly. He's not a loud mouth or a showboat but he'll give his honest opinion when asked.

Fair enough - when comparing the bus that TO threw him under, Garcia's getting off light here. I should caution myself when it comes to opinions v. loudmouths... TO/Johnson/Moss stand in one category and have set the bar pretty high for admission.

Ugh... Emmitt Smith needs to get canned from Sunday NFL Countdown. Constant references to his "Dancing with the Stars", defending every outlandish player, and his defense of Michael Vick make Emmitt look so stupid.
Ex-players/coaches turned commentators is a big risk reward for networks. Some work (Young, Jackson, Ditka and Parcells) and some dont (Thiesmann, Irvin, Emmitt, Dion).
It's too bad that they have to stick with the clowns for a whole season instead of shipping him out after a couple games when it's obvious that they spend more time high five-ing and talking about irrelevant crap while trying to appear intellegent or insightful.

Great, listed as questionable and didn't practice on Friday. I took him out to 'play it safe'.
Moron.

The NFL's new injury reporting system is wrecking havoc with our fantasy football league this year. I'm not sure what was wrong with old one.

And what a catch by Moss to put the Pats up by 21 with still 10 minutes to go in the 1st half.

The only thing that will stop Brady from throwing for 500 yards and 8 TD's today is going to be him gettting bored of destroying the Dolphins. One of my co-workers and I were discussing the game and the 16.5 point spread and the 52.5 over/under. I was saying the best the Dolphins do in this game is play to a 42-17 loss....Looks like I was being too nice.
