Don't you just hate not paying attention in class all semester and studying an entire course hours before the final

Start up a casual conversation with him and ask him what he likes to drink. The next night show up with his favourite poison

Focus on graduation day. That's what got me through.

I don't even know when I'm graduating. I am aggressively pursing this degree to complete it in 3 semesters instead of the usual 4 (thus I'm taking 5 classes instead of the normal coarse load of 3 for a masters) and if I fail any of those 5 this semester, I'm gonna be doing this thing in 4 semesters instead of the 3. Since passing mark is 80, and well, I'm sitting right at 80 or a B for 3 or thereabouts, there's a good chance I'm going to fail at least one of these classes. One of my friends even failed a class with an 84% last semester.

I started a 3000 word paper this morning. It's due at 4. I have 1500 words so far and I'm just getting to the good stuff. Working under the gun is the only way to get er done.

Man I hate primary research and statistic crap. I was never any good at it in high school, and purposely stayed away from it in university, but yet here I sit with a day and a half to write an 8-12 page discussion on "research" where I have no clue what I'm doing.

Arbitrarily assigning a number or value to something like an article or web content is just really, really tough for me to wrap my head around. Oh well.

So my prof wrote me an email last week saying I had until the end of May to write my paper. I was ecstatic to say the least, and emailed him back to say thank you. Part of me still thinks he meant end of April, but I think considering the communication we've had (sending emails back and forth essentially confirming the date), I think I'm safe. At least I hope I am, cause there's no way 30 pages are going to write themselves before Thursday.

....This is me thinking outloud....

8 page paper due tomorrow. It's 10 pm here and I have 6 pages done. What is wrong with me? I should have two pages done by now, tops.

DONE! Frick that Flash A/D Converter must have taken over 500 hours.

LMV cell and 64-bit Adder, hope to get done in the next 24 hours. Funny how these multi-hundread hour projects all finish at the same time, i.e. the day its due.

DONE! (LMV Cell) with 11 hours to spare

Just waiting for a project partner to finish the last project and demo tomorrow and I'm free of projects

Writing my first of what will be two papers due in this spring semester(this one's due tomorrow, the other one's due June 8th). Just a five pager, but she's slow goin. This is the first time I've ever taken spring courses and man are they hard to focus in! Something about wearing shorts & sandals and studying just isn't right. June 12th can't come soon enough...

And it's worse if none of your friends are in school. Most of my friends had already had jobs and crap while I was taking spring semester. They would be talking about how great summer is and I would be freaking stuck inside doing homework. Spring semester sucks. I'm so glad I never have to do another.

Just thought I'd reprise this thread, seein as I'm writing my final term paper of the year right now. Just a 6 pager, due tomorrow. Nothing major, but she's still slow goin.

Must not be many CP'ers on here takin the ol' spring semester. She's been a quiet thread since the end of April.

Haha well I thought I was done with this thread until next fall, but turns out my English Lit final exam is a take home final, in essay form(due tomorrow between 10am-1pm). That's three papers I've had to write for this class in the last 2.5 weeks. Wrote my other final this morning, so writing this bad boy is the last thing standing between me and two and a half months of sweet, sweet freedom.

Bump.

First paper of the term due tomorrow at 3:30pm. Good thing about it is that it's just a regurgitation of the textbook, but still. Five pages double-spaced is still a pain in the butt to write; sometimes harder than longer, 10-12 pg essays because you really have to condense your thoughts etc. This is a class I need in order to graduate in May, so looks like it'll be a late night/early morning. The Flames game tonight certainly won't help in the motivation department either
