Speaking of watches, anyone notice the Tag Heuer Monaco Walter White has been sporting lately in Breaking Bad?

Not my favorite watch, but that's one nice gift from Mr. Pinkman!

Anyone have any experience with Hamiltons? I've been eyeballing the x-wind but haven't seen one in-person.

I am not a big fan of fancy schmancy watches, I want to wear it with jeans etc...

We just got back from vacation, we visited London for a few days, so had to check out Harrods.

My son was drooling over the A. Lange & Sohne watches, among the many other ridiculously beautiful and expensive brands they carry.

Love them. They have many great classic looking watches. They have a solid rep with the freaks* on watchuseek. I don't own any recent ones yet but I have my grandfathers 30 years of service gold watch which is still working perfectly after 70+ years.

*I use freaks in the most affectionate manner but guys who post up the watch they are wearing everyday and have picked out different ones for morning, afternoon, and evening are a touch addicted...and there is a hint of pot meeting kettle since I've clearly paged though the daily posting...

Man, those officer watches are pretty cool. I'm normally not a watch guy, but I think I will probably have to develop another expensive habit.

Figured I'd bump this tread after reading about this watch. Sucks its just a concept that will never go on sale, I really like the clear ceramic housing.

This thread title has always made me chuckle.

Watches you wear... VS Watches you don't wear? I don't get it.

How about actually looking at the web page the link sent you to?

I always get compliments on my Movado watch, which I've had for over 7 years now and it still shines and sparkles like a new penny!

I am a watch whore! I have 18 now but I'm not interested in geting super high end watches. I like to find ones that are different. This is my latest. It's kind of Steampunk inspired,

However if money was no object I would get this:

I have an Eddie Bauer watch that I received as a Christmas gift about 10 years ago. It was $89 and tells the time. The loop that the strap tucks into broke last year so I fixed it with a glue gun and it's still holding up just fine.

Even if I had the money I wouldn't spend it on a fancy watch.

Oh look it's that time again where someone comes in to tell everyone how they don't need no stinkin' fancy watch.

Speaking of which, picked up this FANCY new watch. Finally pulled the trigger on it after a year of contemplating it.

Kinectic moon phase watch, with calendar complications and a power reserve meter. It doesn't smell though.... not sure if I got ripped off or not.
