There are a million of these coaches. My kid is doing fujita this week. But they are not a catch all where they will get this amazing skating skill. It has to work. There are so many of them and they all are different and work better with phisiology.
My kid has done:
- Boris Dorzhenko - Auston Matthews phoenix coach. Bizarre stuff what he does but super cool.
- Fujita in Calgary
- Mike Evans who is Ryker Evans dad.
- Josh Morissey's dad Tom.
- Candace Behm.
- Brayden points dad.
- A million others in Calgary alone. Pettapiece, kluner, etc.
I cannot tell which makes him better or worse. It is extremely not simple.
It is not this one size fits all thing. It is way more complex like Tkachuk was just being arrogant. You can't just add a dash of Fujita.
And to add, east west is way more important. I will swear by it but Daryl Belfry is the best skills coach on the planet, and the best players agree. His camps are revelatory and amazing just to watch. His camps are pricy but multiple people record them.
He doesn't even do children things anymore, just NHLers. Flames need to acquire him.
