10 point deficit might have seemed bad with how Notre Dame was playing, but Penn State wasn't playing much better. Two mediocre teams having a mid-off, should be a close finish at least.

Pretty fortunate PI call. First even though he wasn't looking at the ball, he barely touched him and really the minimal contact didn't prevent the TE from catching the ball which was well underthrown.

Penn State will rue not doing more in that first half. Allar missing the TD and another big play really hurts. Notre Dame showed great heart though, deserved to win.
