Which makes sense because the Flames were an elite team three to five years ago. They couldn't keep them all together but they had a very high quality team for quite a while. They were neck and neck with Tampa in 2018-19 if memory serves me correct.

They should wear Atlanta Flames jerseys and play as the former Flames.

Ponying up for Tanev may end up being the difference between round 2/3 and a trip to the finals for our rivals.
Yeah there's a tax on it being Calgary, but you pay that every day of the week for what he brings.

That haul we got for Lindholm from the Canucks should have been meant for Tanev. A 2nd rounder is what Lindholm was really worth. lol

Honestly you can do it with almost any team, we just notice the Flames. Tons of player movement these days.
I bet I can make a team of ex Sharks or whoever
Kane, Burns, Hertl, ect.
