4.5 hours for a regulation football game is nuts.

If Washington kneeled 3 times the game is over, instead they galaxy brained it and are at risk of losing. It’s insane how bad these coaches are at clock management.

Seems ridiculous an injury could stop you from running out the clock.

Don't really like the play calls on downs 1-3
Seems like the right outcome though...always better when it's 2 undefeated teams playing for the college national title.

Your over the top negativity can be a little much sometimes. Kneeling doesn’t run out the game soI understand why you hand it off. Maybe you get a first down. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team go into victory formation when they know they will be forced to kick in a one score game.
The injury gave the Longhorns about 5 more plays. I really don’t understand why the clock wouldn’t start at the referee’s whistle after the injury.

It’s not that we the top negativity, if they knelt down they would have given Texas the ball back with about 15 seconds left and the ball likely around their 20. Instead they gave them 50 seconds. That is a massive difference, especially if Johnson is out for next week as well.
Yes the rule doesn’t make sense but they should know that going into it shouldn’t they?

It can start after the whistle, but that decision is up to the uninjured team. The 10 second runoff rule is to prevent losing teams from faking injuries to stop the clock, and isn't meant for the unusual scenario of the winning team getting an injury.

Exactly. I can’t think of a reason why the clock shouldn’t start at the referee’s whistle here, the rule isn’t logical. Seems absurd to give one team such a huge advantage because of an injury.

I was referring to your use of moron, dumbass, insane, galaxy brain and whatever else if I go back further. You are negative about every single thing in every thread.
I’m well aware of what happened and yes it is a horrible break. Seems to me the odds of an injury in that kind of play are longer than automatically giving Texas the ball back and they get the benefit of a PI call or something like that.
