Wolf just shutout CV last game.

Rough game, but not sure you can say D'accord exactly left him in the dust

Extremely tight series overall

Very close series, four games decided by one goal, two of them in OT.

Unfortunately they lost both of those OT games — still a pretty darn good inaugural season, the boys should be proud of what they accomplished.

I blame myself. I chose the $30 whole playoff package this evening instead of just paying for one game.

Yeah just can’t agree with the call to start the series at home.

This series was always going at least 4, and 5 felt likely too. Dumb to pass up the advantage.

From Love, it sounded more of “keep doing what has worked for us so far” than a front office financial decision on guaranteed home dates.

Good practise to start griping over our new coach’s decisions before he’s officially the Flames’ coach.

Strong season though. Enjoy the summer Wranglers. Good luck Firebirds!

What a dumb decision to give up home ice advantage for this series. And we want this guy as head coach for the flames?

Has to be some pretty big disappointment for the Wranglers today. Some positives, but a lot of disappointing performances. Awesome that Pelletier lead the team in post-season scoring and Jeremie Poirier was there with him. I wouldn't discount Mr. Poirier making some noise in camp this fall. Adam Klapka provided some timely scoring which is interesting. Could challenge for a bottom line role? Have to be disappointed to see Walker Duehr go goose egg in the goal department. Was hoping for more. I don't know who was a bigger surprise in not generating much, Matthew Phillips, Connor Zary, or Ben Jones. Thought they would step up in the post season and continue to be offensive threats. Still, it was a good development year for many players and it should lead to an interesting camp come September.

Who says it was Love's decision? Did he get to make the final call?

Also, they had no choice but to give up home ice advantage one way or another. If you start the series on the road for two games of a best of 5, that isn't any kind of "advantage"

I think Zary has been my biggest disappointment in the post season, he was just not effective at all. He has to figure out how to get stronger on the boards, I think it his biggest weakness. Zary likes to have puck on his stick but when he’s near the boards he always gets easily pinned and loses the puck - it looks like it’s not even a contest.

He has good mobility and quick first step to create separation but needs to get stronger and more physical in order to actually get away from other players on the boards. He’s not a small kid so it should not be an issue but if he wants to play in the NHL he needs to hit the gym more.

It was Love's decision, he said as much to Steinberg. It was a bad decision to start in the road, you get a split on the road and you have the next 3 at home.

Scorp’s right, total unforced error to cede home ice advantage. By opening on the road, you guarantee series is decided in your barn. I’d argue it’s a bigger home ice advantage than 2-2-1.

For everyone saying how smart Texas was to choose home ice advantage in Game 5... Guess who lost at home on Sunday?

None of the 4 regular season Division winners made it to the Conference Finals.

From what I saw I'd say average. Didn't blow anyone's doors off. I was a bit disappointed for a guy who seemed to dominate the league in the reg season.
