I have zero issue with missing from the point shots. Clear paths to the net from the point are covered multiple players these days unless there is a major defensive error. Sit down at ice level and see what sort of view defenders taking point shots, have at the net...not much.
It's the one timers in the high slot chances where there is no defender that is the issue.
Mangipane with a soft shot on that great set play means it fluttered rather then went directly.
