It’s a risk but Eagles draft is very good so far.

Gotta think Willis goes to the Lions at 97, unless the Panthers jump them.

With how the draft has shaken out there doesn't seem to be a logical landing spot for Baker or Jimmy G anymore, although in Jimmy's case he might still end up the starter for the Niners.

Can someone that watched college football tell me more about this Willis QB? Looking likely he will be back up to Tannehill this year and then become the starter in 2 years time.

very raw, but great arm and athleticism. Accuracy is a concern, he needs to sit for a year or two for sure ... but he has upside, unlike most of the other QBs in this class. Wanted him for Pittsburgh badly because of that.
OT Bernhard Raimann became the first Austrian to be drafted into the NFL yesterday, at #77 to the Colts. Rooting hard for him, he's made history in a sport that has seen increasing popularity over here over the last few years. Hopefully he can carve out a nice career and hopefully others will follow.

Thanks! Sounds like a boom or bust pick. Might as well go for it in the third round why not. I'll be cheering for him to make it, Titans could really use a new QB.

Oh no. What will they ever do. Please Raegor no come back you’re so important and useful and not a waste of a draft pick and roster spot.

I'm impressed by the restraint of teams this year as they didn't overdraft any of the QBs outside of the Steelers. Just goes to show how bad this class was at the position as even QB needy teams passed on these guys.

Another FA QB on the market.
Quote:
The Chicago Bears have agreed to release quarterback Nick Foles, the team confirmed Saturday night.
The Bears originally acquired Foles two seasons ago in a trade with Jacksonville for a fourth-round draft pick.
After starting seven games in 2020, the Super Bowl LII MVP logged only one start last season. He carried a $10.67 million salary-cap hit in 2022.
Chicago general manager Ryan Poles confirmed in March that the team had been trying to trade Foles after adding veteran backup Trevor Siemian in free agency.

Sounds like Tyrann Mathieu will be signing with the Saints, expects to be official tomorrow.
After taking a WR & OT in the first round of last week's draft, S was the last remaining hole on that roster. This team isn't the top contender anymore that they were from 2017-20, but as long as they can stay healthy (something they've greatly struggled with the past 2 seasons), it should still be a competitive playoff team. Especially in a weaker-looking NFC.
EDIT: You could say RB is also a hole, with Kamara expected to be suspended multiple weeks to start the season after an off-season incident. That will need to be addressed as well - possibly in TC with veteran cuts.

Hopkins in AZ will be out for 6 games for violating NFL PED policy.

You can understand why the Cardinals traded for Brown with Hopkins out for 1/3 of the season. That's going to hurt.
