Of course not, but in Talbot's 3 games, the Flames had an xGA of 8.11
Talbot only let in 4 goals
In Rittich's last 3 games, the Flames had an xGA of 9.95
Rittich let in 10
Easy to see who's had the better stretch. That's also excluding Rittich's long bad stretch even before then and the fact Talbot has better numbers across the board for the season.
I say all this as someone who loves Rittich, but there's no denying he's been below average for awhile now and while the focus should definitely be getting him back in his groove, I personally don't think doing it in our biggest game of the season so far is the right time for it.
But we're only down by one so lets focus on the Flames coming back and winning
