Nice job on the Sicario music. That really makes me want to watch that movie again.

I don’t think they played it last night. Probably why they lost.

He looks back before he gets the puck too. 100% intentional.

I think Brodie is really struggling.

Making a lot of bad decisions with the puck.

Hot take.

Mine: I think Mike Smith has been good. Come at me.

I thought he was really strong in game 1 and really bad in game 2. I don’t know if you can really afford a Brodie gaffe every game.

Oh no, I was joking because after last night Brodie was being drawn and quartered all over the place by Flames fans.

See, this is what I mean.

I just don't think he has had a good series at all. Why they keep playing him on PP unit 2 is beyond me. He is not confident with the puck at all and the way the PP is often setup he's the guy on top.

I think Calgary is going to come out pretty hard tomorrow. They won’t have the crowd and sideshow so they can just focus on their game. I think they know they’ve been outhustled and outplayed and are going to dominate tomorrow.

I predict a road victory tomorrow night. First line will pop a couple too.

Gaudreau-Monahan-Bennett
Tkachuk-Backlund-Lindholm
Frolik-Jankowski-Neal
Hathaway-Ryan-Mangiapane

Giordano-Andersson
Hanifin-Hamonic
Valimaki-Brodie

Smith

If the Flames keep getting this goaltending from Smith and get their game going it could be our year. Flames definitely haven’t had their best effort and I expect to see them dictate the pace tomorrow.

Problems:

1) way too much special teams - flames need to play more 5-on-5. Be more disciplined.

2) We need a second shutdown line to shadow McKinnon line by combining Ryan and Lindholm. This becomes more important on the road.

3) Neal and Janko need less ice time as they're the bottom 2 forwards.

4) First line needs a #### disturber

Johnny Monahan Hathaway - 16 mins
Tkachuk Backlund Frolik - 16 mins
Bennett Ryan Lindholm - 13 mins
Mangiapane Janko Neal - 5 mins

Special teams - 10 mins

having watched a fair few of the other games now it is quite clear that Calagary needs to lift the intensity by a large margin. Other teams are going at it hammer and tongs with lots of aggression, big hits and lots of fire and fury. Calgary look like they are on holiday; although Monhan is a great scorer I am not sure he is a number one centre that is going to win you a Stanley Cup, the boy does not have an aggressive bone in his body, it does my head in watching fly by an obvious hit. They don't look like they want it at the moment.
