Interestingly enough, I think I'm responsible for this. Years ago, maybe back in 2006 or so, when we first arrived in CA, I took the wife and son to a Flames game here.
Flames won in OT, and as we're walking outside, wearing Flames' jerseys, we received some mild taunting. I replied by putting a curse on the Sharks, that they'd never win the cup.
