Neal gave away the puck on that rush very softly with a cross ice pass to nobody, his line-mates bust their arse to get the puck back in the offensive zone, then they fed a perfect pass on Neal’s tape...

I did find the article about Neal and his discontinued stick intriguing. I definitely doesnt surprise me that he would struggle after changing sticks hes been using for years.
Even as an amateur player, I know I had a certain stick that was just "it". If I could have 100 of that same stick I would. And others just dont work.
Flames big guns are invisible today; have barely seen Johnny or Monny. Neal is hopeless and completely lacking in confidence. Mango...lost and out of position, drifting around the ice.
WTF? It's like they're asleep (yes...I know, boring Minny hockey - and worse yet, I'm stuck watching the Minny feed, where they spent the first half of the second period talking all about women's hockey in Minnesota...no PbP at all....weird.)
Right after Neal hit the post, Rowdy started barking like crazy and jumping up and down for no apparent reason- no one at the door, no one else home. I think he was trying to tell me the curse has ended, and Neal is going to score.

Yep, infact he had 2 giveaways that shift. Just a brutal backhand breakout pass attempt to their defenseman. The guy looks done.

Minnesota is still the most boring team in the league to watch. They've been like that for over a decade now, never having enough top talent to play a fast game so it's always slow trap hockey. I can't remember the last time I actually enjoyed watching a game against them
If not for their ridiculously good home record every year the Minnesota Wild would never make the playoffs.
This is one of the toughest buildings in which to play in the NHL, and there was a graphic earlier which showed that the second is by far the Wild's best period. For the Flames to be tied after two is a solid position to be in.
Win it in the third.
