Funny how Monahan just casually skates in a semi-circle and it creates the best chance of the powerplay.

Cameron draws up the play. Flames win the facoff and proceed to look completely lost on that 5 on 3. D switching sides, Monahan skating to the point.
Wtf?

Ferland fanned on anwide open shot in the slot and they had a post. They got the looks on the PP just not the finish

Ferland and Monahan should've gotten goals there. Sucks still they can't convert on PPs to save their lives.

Young guys carrying this team. Hathaway, Jankowski, and Rittich. 3 rookies and arguably our best guys tonight. Props to Huska and the amateur scouts

The guys on the sides of that 5-on-3 weren't in sufficiently threatening positions.

Should've declined the 5 on 3 and offered to play 3 on 3 instead.. Probably a better chance of scoring haha

Lack of finish is this team's calling card.

I was really hoping to be up on that one. They did have their looks, for sure.

Default Flames @ Montreal

I think everyone needs to start talking about Bennett and the fact that once he got a good linemate, he started producing.

All those people who called him a bust for not being able to carry non-NHL quality players...when do you start eating crow?

First 15 games: 0 points
Last 14 games: 10 points

Seriously, anti-Bennett people...where are you now? Are you going to admit circumstances played a MASSIVE role in his lack of success and early this season?

Hasn't he been sick the past few games?

Jankowski and Bennett have been awesome again tonight, they deserve some pp time

Ferland has had two big fans - the first was a sure goal. Bad luck I guess.

Ferland has missed 3 or so since the start of the second that he'd have buried earlier in the season.
