Yes, your parents being Canadian had everything to do with that. You had the option of having citizenship based on their citizenship, and they had until your 18th birthday to make that decision. I see no reason why a parent wouldn't give their child the freedom of having both. There is no downside to having Canadian citizenship that I can think of. Like I said, its a nice get-out-of-jail card if things go crazy. A Canadian passport is almost universally welcomed while an American passport can gain some derision and undue scrutiny in parts of the world.
Yeah but it's not like my American citizenship was revoked when I became Canadian, which was implied in the post I responded to. Did THAT have something to do with Canadian parents? My understanding was it's the other way around (New US citizens had to give up previous, but US citizens in other countries are free to hold any citizenships the can under the law of the country they're in and a citizen of), but there are anecdotes refuting that as well. Not sure how often these laws change.
The actual video is even weirder. The tweet that Izzle posted with the .gif made it sound like Trump walked out in response to a question about Flynn. Actually Pence is talking, Trump says one sentence of nothing and then just walks away. The Flynn question is shouted out as he's walking away already. So weird.
My favourite part though is Pence doing the sad walk of shame to go pick up the EO's and follow Trump to the bathroom or whatever.

I have to say Stone was not the beast we hoped he would be..
Can't see that here, but if it is Roger Stone on Bill Maher, yeah, that was weird. He's a character. So funny he brought out the pot cake and has a Nixon tattoo on his back.
A senior advisor for Trump. He only hires the best people.

.@realDonaldTrump is bringing auto plants & jobs back to Michigan. @justinamash is a big liability.
#TrumpTrain, defeat him in primary.
Oooops. Only one problem with what he did. It's illegal.
Here's a former lawyer for Obama.

This violates the Hatch Act. WH staff can't use an official or de facto govt Twitter acct (which this is) to call for defeat of a candidate
