Doubt it. Just good ol fashioned bad reffing.

I think refs can have bad stretches in performance, just like players do. (And just like many other professions too)

Calls are 10 for the Flames, 9 for the Coyotes. Last night, it was 9 for the Flames, 5 for the Sharks.

Last night was a case of the Flames being out of their league. Tonight seems to be a more clearcut case of a ref going nuts with his whistle.
