Hamilton so far is much worse than Bouwmeester was, and I hated that guy.

Never been a fan of Hiller. Really thought he should be waived over Ramo. That said, no one is winning with this secondary scoring and the way Hamilton is playing tonight. Hamilton can turn things around, but this complete lack of secondary scoring is really concerning to me.

Last year those outside shots didn't make it through. Which is why blocked shots are not a good stat when looking at how the team is playing - they covered up a lot.

What this bashing on Hiller? Yes the bad rebound was his fault but, on't you guys remember he gave us light on Friday with the stops he made. There is a reason why Hiller is here and Ramo isn't. The offense from the Flames have been very poor and that is our biggest problem this year.

Excellent game from Gaudreau, Bennett, Grant and Jooris. Top line looked elite on offense, but kind of weak defensively.

Looking at our line-up this summer, I never figured defense would be such an issue for us. Like we look very bad on D most nights. Hopefully Brodie comes back soon and calms all D pairings.

Last year we had defensemen who blocked shots. This year we have Hamilton who screens the goalie instead.

Every shot from the Flames going wide or directly into the chest. Frustrating

There have been some positive signs this game but in the end, it's still a spanking.

Hiller is as advertised. We've had him a full season now, we should be used to what we get from him. He played pretty well, made some good saves, and let in a stinker.

I'm much more concerned about our team defense than goaltending right now.

Frustrating game today. Felt like we were the better team then the wheels just fell off.

The Rangers do what an elite team does, and that is capitalize on their scoring chances. The Flames had many chances to increase their lead and just couldn't bury that second one. If they want any success this season they must find some finish and put teams away early.

Such a miserable and disappointing start to the season. At least we saw some good things over these last two games. If the Flames can limit their defensive miscues and start getting some secondary scoring, I think they'll be ok. But if they can't turn this around quickly, they're gonna be in serious trouble in regards to the standings. They need to right the ship starting tomorrow night and string a few W's together.

Dosent matter about Friday after the game is done. He wasent tonight nor before that game. He hasent been consistent since his bout with Vertigo. I'm sure if B.T could have waive both he would have. If the rumors are true he had shopped him all summer then that dosent bode will.
