In any event, it seems likely that both players will be quite good.
Yes, the comparison is to Tavares (and not skating styles or other hyper-specific issues). McDavid is good. Really good. Perhaps not Crosby good, which is where Tavares is at currently.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Yeah if they are both reckless players it's for totally different reasons as Hall isn't the smartest or most aware player on the ice. Bennett is overly aggressive and tenacious maybe to a fault due to his stature. That said as he gets older he will get bigger and stronger while Hall's mental capacity is as good as it's ever going to get.

I was actually terrified during training camp at the thought of Bennett with his stature and style of play, going up against seasoned veterans. Being out of action having the opportunity to focus on strength probably ended up being a huge blessing in disguise. It's almost like the European development systems where young players get less game action, but focus on training.

Just wanted to quickly bump this as Bennett and the Frontenac's have 3 games scheduled this weekend.Tonight @ 5PM, Sat @ 5PM, Sun @ 4PM (All MST) should be a good weekend and hopefully he continues his dominance and racks up the points!

Happens often in the OHL. With the shorter travel distances, they limit the amount of time the players miss school (and the weekend games are better attended). Vast majority of OHL games are played on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. The 3 in 3 weekends probably happen 5-8 times a year.

So I see they have 6 games remaining with a home and home with Oshawa, who looks to be their first round match up. five of the six games against the first three seeds in the conference. Some tough games coming up here. If he can keep is ppg pace I will be extremely impressed.

Virtually no chance of that happening. Kingston will finish 6th and likely play North Bay or possibly Barrie

Bennett has a goal in a 3-2 Fronts lead over the Bulls ... 12:17 remaining in the 3rd.

I used to play 3 in 2 when I was 18. Monday morning was tough, walking was a serious issue. Looked like an old man that had hip replacement surgery.
