Some of the hate that Glencross gets is not justified. To the people saying they would rather have Wolf in his place give your head a shake

Do you remember the time it sounded like someone taking a leak? Maybe that was a PPV... I can't quite recall. It was funny though.

Agreed. Glencross is not being traded because he is a bad player or that he is a locker room cancer.
Glencross is being traded because it's good asset management.

Thats how I read it as well, I think he was saying he would like to stay in Calgary and see his contract through, but he would also be happy to go to another team that (also) has a chance to win a cup.
WRT his utilization, I don't think he was necessarily complaining about ice time vs (Jones, Johnny, et al) but moreso that he wants to be playing 20 min a night and not 15. I don't read that as a bad thing, I too wish he was Glencross circa 2009 as well.
Personally, I'm hoping Treliving still holds Glencross's price tag at a 1st round pick / early 2nd or good prospect (i.e. Pittsburg's Poutliet, Harrington...) rather then fold and give in for a 3rd/4th. I would be ok keeping him on the roster and losing him via UFA if the compensation is a 3rd/4th round pick, Glencross still has to pad his stats to get his UFA pay day which could still help us in a playoff run. It also keeps some depth (Wolf, Sven, etc) to help our AHL team make the playoffs as well.

So would you all agree with the odds of him being traded are 50% (+/-50%)?

There are no rumours or speculation about this, but I would really really really like to see Scott Harrington come our way if Glencross goes to Pittsburgh.

Wait, you're saying that you believe there's an 86% chance that he doesn't get traded?

I think he really wants to play in the playoffs in Calgary. But, if his goal is to win a Stanley Cup, it's best for him to be traded to a team that will have the best chance of making the playoffs, teams like Anaheim, Tampa Bay, Montreal, or Pittsburgh.

I really hope we some how manage a trade with Pittsburgh for one of their defensive prospects. Would be such a boost to the rebuild!

Technically 83.3% he doesn't based on those odds, but sure I would take that bet against hulkrogen just for giggles.
Not for $100 though. I was thinking much smaller.

If we can land a 20-25 year old d-man in return that's two birds with one stone.

I'll do $5. Again, this is more for bragging rights and general silliness for me.
