Three 7 game series. You gotta wonder what's left in the tank.

.@kermitology #Flames went 2-1-0 vs. CHI, 3-2-0 vs. LA. So yes, #Flames won both season series.
And AC:
Peter Maher said because the Flames got as many pts as CHI in the series, neither won it even though they won 2 somehow

He was largely invisible in both Olympics except of course the golden goal in Vancouver. Granted he didn't need to be dominant on such stacked teams, but when the Penguins have really needed someone to step up in the playoffs the last few years he's done squat

Yeah I still don't really get how it makes sense that even though we won 2 of the 3 games, because both teams got 4 pts neither wins the season series.
But thats what Peter Maher said during the season.

The whole Western Conference is ridiculous. St Louis, Anaheim, Colorado and Minnesota and Dallas on the rise, Sharks are still good if chokers, and then these two behemoths. Just absolutely loaded.

I think Mr. Galiardi is spot on
TJ Galiardi @TJGaliardi 13 min
NBA game 6 117-92, No lead changes @NHL game 6 4-3, four lead changes. No comparison.
Or from the other night:
Brian @BrianFreyJr
last night, a 20 minute NHL Overtime took 26 minutes to play. Meanwhile, the last 12 seconds of the Heat game took 8 minutes. #action

Considering this is the Blackhawks, when they should've been out of it against Red Wings last year, and ran the table after being down 2-0 against the Blues, I think they got this. They just find a way to get it done no matter what. Pretty much the perfect NHL team in the currently.

If someone would have asked me who I'd rather, Crawford or Quick, before the series started I would have said Quick without hesitating. I don't know what it is about the last couple games, but Quick has been outplayed by quite a margin IMO. Crawford has been stellar.

It was short. He came in, said something about flying at 11, and walked back out.

A frantic final ten minutes had me on the edge of my seat...the damn 'Hawks blow a lead by going into a defensive shell, and taking a couple penalties, then Kane stomps the gas and the 'Hawks wreck the Kings at home with only a 3 shot 3rd period...
I have to say, that the 'Hawks style of play, under Q, has been a treat after watching years of plodding hockey...
Whelp, I gotta double my Blood pressure meds on Sunday...this series comes down a best of one!

Yeah, it was nice to be competitive against them in the regular season, but we all know we'd get stomped by either of these teams in a seven game series. With the West as stacked as it is right now, this is a great time to be in a rebuild phase. Hang down at the bottom of the conference for a few years, pick up some great draft picks, and then as these teams age and the Minnesotas and Colorados run into cap problems, ideally we'll have a bunch of guys on entry and bridge deals to make a few runs.
God damn what a great game that was. Game 7 is going to be awesome.

@DamoSpin: Not official yet...but tonight is NOT the great Bob Cole's last game. Hearing he's close to signing on with Rogers team for next season.

If the Hawks become the first team to defend their SC championship in 16 years, do they earn the distinction of establishing the first NHL dynasty of the 21st century?

Question: What did you say to the team after the loss?
Sutter: We fly at 11.
