That's what strength and speed get you. If Wideman's stronger and has better position that's a nothing play.

Man we knew there would be growing pains with the young players but it sucks to see the veteran players let the team down. Giordano and Wideman sucked on that goal.

Typical Kerr. Knee deep in a "Darryl Sutter is so ornery...." story then a pause for about 5 seconds as you could tell he was turning a page of his notes to the next story, next words I hear is "They score".

This, after clearly not watching the game the whistle before as to why and how Regher got the penalty call, not Sven as he announced.

I think he was just trying to get that Sutter story out then, and the pesky play on the ice was taking him away from getting that out of his mouth, so he jams it into a Flames PP and misses a SH goal.

Just absolute amateur hour.
