looks like it's gonna be a large diversion from hw galactica handled things. with the galactica we see drame and story development and humanism. Not that you won't see that with pegasus, but it seems like there will be a lot more action due to the way that ship functions. should be interesting for sure. especally to see another side of the story from a totally different perspective.

november is a little later than i thought though. oh well, i'm kind of out of the bsg loop anyway now. once you don't watch an episode for a couple weeks, you gradually drift away and it doens't bother you anymore.

Man, I get chills just watching that preview. The music is fantastic, and Razor is going to be awesome. I can't wait for more BSG!

There will be webisodes leading into the movie . . . . as with last year, it might take anyone not living in the USA some convoluted method to view them but the internet is unlikely to let us down. The webisodes are backgrounder leading into season 4.

A modest update below. No word on if Space in Canada will be airing webisodes. They didn't the last time they were around.


Beginning in October, SCI FI will air Battlestar Galactica "mini-sodes" entitled "Razor" during episodes of the hit series Flash Gordon, Fridays at 9 p.m. The two-to-three-minute shorts will lead into the Nov. 24 premiere of "Razor," the two-hour Battlestar special TV movie, which will tell the story of Lee Adama's (Jamie Bamber) first mission as commander of the Battlestar Pegasus and will reveal the story of how Adm. Cain (Michelle Forbes) served her ship during the original Cylon attack on the Colonies. "Razor," which airs at 9 p.m., will provide a backdrop to events in the rest of Battlestar, which returns for its fourth and final season in early 2008.

"Razor" is written by Michael Taylor and directed by Felix Alcala. It also stars Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer and introduces Stephanie Jacobsen as Kendra, Adm. Cain's protege.

Does anyone know when Season 3 is coming to DVD? I just picked up season 2 (and 2.5) for 50 bucks on Amazon, but I would like to rewatch the entire series before season 4 starts.

(On my TV, not my computer).

It was supposed to be august, but that was way back in feb march when they said that. i think they pushed the movie back, didn't they? so they may have pushed season 3 back a bit. I would expect september at the earliest, but don't worry, it will be out before season 4 starts. Season 4 doesn't start until 2008.

Hey I don't watch this show, but I met one of the actors from this show - Alessandro Julianni (he plays some character named "Felix Gata"?). He was actually one of the wedding singers at my friend's wedding in Calgary last weekend. I'm not sure if he usually does these things, but he's married to the other wedding singers sister, and does duets with her. Nice guy from my brief interaction with him.

I was watching some of the Razor previews on Youtube last night and came across this cast interview.

It gives a not so subtle hint as to who is a cylon, it floored me, i couldnt believe my favorite character was a cylon.

I didn't watch it because I don't really want to see any spoilers, but I wouldn't believe anything the cast says about anything. I seriously doubt their going to come out and say who the final cylon is. They play a lot of head games. Didn't they go through the whole thing with starbuck when she died, they made it seem like there was a falling out between her and the writers and they killed her off etc and this was coupled with some interviews she did and the fact she was doing bionic woman. I wouldn't believe anything they say. I bet it will stay under wraps until the very end as much as possible.

Sci Fi Channel execs continue to be at odds over whether to cleave the final season of Battlestar Galactica into two 10-episode chunks. As one source tells TV Week, "the money people" are itching to amortize the pricey series across two half-seasons. Showrunner Ronald D. Moore, however, tells the trade it might be better to run all 20 at once, "so [the fans] don't have to wait" — especially since viewers reportedly will "freak out" when they see the ending of Episode 10. A decision on the game plan may not come until January.

Elsewhere, Sci Fi is said to be pondering a two-hour stand alone Caprica spin-off movie that, if successful, would serve as a pilot for a new character-driven, less-action-heavy series.

Also, TVGuide.com has learned that the Season 3 DVD set isn't due out until spring 2008.

WHAT?!?! Season 3 won't be out until Spring 08?!? are they insane? that means we won't have the DVD's until probably AFTER the first 10 episodes of season 4. Are these guys high or something?

I have every episode torrented and burned to dvd from season 3 but i'd really rather watch a better copy.

Caprica would be nice.
