Brandon Issac is a major POS. The guy has tried to take off the head of 2 QB's now.

In my alternate universe the all-Canadian lineup would be Kim Mitchell, Rush, Divinity (Calgary) with Devin Townsend headlining. One can only dream.
Actually, my band would be in there too somewhere. Hey, it's MY dream!

You say now as though he did anything wrong today. That was a fine hit on the baby Durant.

On TSN pre-game telecast for Edmonton vs Montreal, the ticker shows Winnipeg 6-11 and Hamilton 5-12. I thought Hamilton won against Winnipeg yesterday.
Anyways, i checked the standings and TSN was incorrect. It should be Hamilton 6-11 and Winnipeg 5-12. Hamilton still needs to win their last game and hopefully Eskimos lose their last two games in order to avoid the crossover which i am not a big fan of.

I rather have a crossover it's embarrassing Hamilton could be a playoff team.

I like the idea of a crossover if the team crossing over truly deserves it and just gets jobbed by being in the wrong division but Edmonton is a crap team and shouldn't be in the play-offs.
Shouldn't matter much as even the pathetic Argos should be able to beat them at home if the Esks do fluke out a play-off spot.

The CFL should be a one division league...that would eliminate the silly crossovers and make it the top teams.

I guess they aren't really targeting me as an audience as it seems to be non-traditional football fans they look to attract with the halftime show but that looks like a whole lot of garbage both before the game and at halftime.
|
Would you rather have Nickelback, TheBlack Eyed Peas, Beyonce or Madonna?
Like him or not, Bieber is one of the biggest acts on the planet today, and the halftime show will always pander to the Top 40 crowd. Deal with it.

I'm not a Bieber fan, but getting him and Jepson for the Grey Cup halftime show is pretty huge. Superbowl probably wishes they could line those two up.

They're not awful. That would be your attitude. There's no halfway with you is there? Crappy, craptastic, garbage, brutal, awful - must be exhausting to live with that much rage and frustration at the world around you!
Anyway, go Esks............at least they made it interesting at the end yesterday with Nicholls. My guess is he's even money to start the year as number one next year for the Esks. They can't do a whole lot worse at the QB position than they've done this year, though Joseph did show flashes still at 39. Tillman outsmarted himself this year and the team paid the price.

The Esks have said that Kerry Joseph will start at QB on Friday night. Their playoff hopes might be known by the end of Thursday's game.

I don't see how the Durant hit was dirty or close to suspension worthy and even the first hit wasn't that bad.
I have only seen his trash talking in regards to Lewis and I saw that as two guys who played together going at each other. But there may be more of it that I haven't heard.
And LOL at Tillspin. How this guy still has a rep as a CFL genius is beyond me with the crap he has produced over the years.

CFL announces team winners for Annual Players Awards

Jon Cornish is a double nominee. Most Outstanding Player and Most Outstanding Canadian. I have to say he will win the Most Outstanding Canadian and will be in tough for Most Outstanding Player.
Most Outstanding Player:
WEST: BC QB Travis Lulay, Calgary RB Jon Cornish, Edmonton LB JC Sherritt, Saskatchewan R Weston Dressler
EAST: Montreal QB Anthony Calvillo, Toronto R/KR Chad Owens, Hamilton R/KR Chris Williams and Winnipeg RB Chad Simpson.
Cornish, Sherritt, Owens and Williams are all double nominees.

Nice of the Esks to use the back door to make the playoffs. I'm sorry but the cross over is a joke. Just eliminate the 2 divisions and either have the top 4 teams make playoffs, 1 v 4-2 v 3 with winners to the Grey Cup or have the top 6 make it, top 2 get byes and then playoff from there.

Yep and they didn't have to do anything. I can't believe Hamilton lost to Toronto's second-tier team. I guess they really don't deserve to be in the playoff. Also too bad Mr. Buck Pierce couldn't stay healthy in Winnipeg this season, they would have made the playoff easily if he was playing. Something about that team. They just play differently when Pierce is not playing.
I have to agree one division and get the Top 6 even when Ottawa start playing in a couple of years. It's just a joke that the teams from the East except Montreal keep making the playoffs even though they are awful every season.

My twitter timeline is blowing up with the news of Eric Tillman being fired in Edmonton. Strange timing if you ask me, why not wait till their season was over? I mean I think we all saw this coming but just weird timing if you ask me.

CFL News (@CFL_News) tweeted at 2:42 PM on Sat, Nov 03, 2012:
Eric Tillman has been fired from his position as GM of the Edmonton Eskimos. #CFL #Esks
This is just screaming "Shouldn't have traded RR" with the Esks facing the Argos next weekend
