mm well it might impact the polls a bit but that's not my point. If you read my post it says that I think its fair that ND gets bounced by an unbeaten KSU or Oregon.
As an aside, I have heard many times that in the new format of selecting the top 4 there will be a bias towards conf winners which is great. If ND thinks it needs to be the NCAA princess and not align with a conference, then the system biting them back sounds like a good reply.

How many think there will be 3 undefeated teams at the top when all the regular season games are played?
I do.

I never understood why USC kept postponing the scholarship losses from their NCAA violations. Its not like they were going to overturn the NCAA decision. They should have bottomed out by accepting those reduced number of scholarships during the same time they were banned from bowls. This year, they can finally go to a bowl game but they didn't have enough depth with the scholarship reductions.

Which three are you thinking?
I really think ND loses to USC on the last week, but I could definitely see the other three go undefeated.

Yes it has been a great year to be a ND fan. They pretty much make every game exciting. This one I thought they were trying to find ways to lose. But a little ND mystique as well there at the end with the guy choking on an easy field goal.
Then they take advantage and win it / thrilling and FUN.

The W Virginia vs TCU and Oregon vs USC were highly entertaining games. Little D but a hell of alot of fun to watch.
Did anyone catch this MSU player take a ballet like dive, its too funny.

I don't blame him, that was one of the most atrociously bad all around officiating performances I have ever seen.

NEB seemed to get away with alot of Oline holding giving Martinez the advantage to scramble around.

A lot of bad calls both ways, and they turned out to be very costly. I was pretty frustrated after the game, but at the end of the day the story of this season for MSU is an inability to close out games. If they could do that they'd likely be a 1 loss team. The upside is that outside of Bell they don't lose anyone of major importance this year, so they should be pretty dangerous next season, but it sure is depressing to be talking about next season already.

Notre Dame is in good shape to go undefeated because 2 of their final 3, including against USC, are on the road. All of Notre Dame's home games this year have been decided by 7 points or less, while they have 20-3, 41-3 and 31-13 dominations of Michigan State, Miami and Oklahoma at neutral/road sites. Never seen a team seemingly have such a home field disadvantage, but clearly they seem to play much better on the road.

Lane Kiffin...the biggest piece of crap there is?
Quote:
According to USCTrojans.com, a football student manager has been fired for “intentionally deflating, below NCAA-regulated levels, some game footballs used by USC’s team during the first half in last Saturday’s game against Oregon.”
The report adds that officials found and re-inflated three footballs before the start of the game, and two more at halftime. The student manager claims he was not given instruction to deflate the game balls — under-inflated footballs are easier to hold onto, catch and throw, and offenses use their own footballs — if you believe that sort of thing.

That's what I'm thinking too.
Injuries are the wild card though. If Klein goes down K-State is hooped.

Well lets see...I'm maybe guessing here, but the kid might have been instructed by Lane to deflate the balls. Student Managers pretty much do as their told. Considering Lane's past....yeah he did it. And Saban is no saint, but he's not a low life like Lane. When Al Davis thinks you're a scummy low life, considering he made a history of signing them, you must really be a scummy low life.
