It's crazy to think that if it weren't for Rafael Nadal, Federer might have as many as 22 grand slam victories.

Since Federer's first win, between the two of them they have won:

5 Australian Opens
7 French Open
8 Wimbledons
6 US Opens

The rest of the tour combined has won:

3 Australian Opens (Safin, 2005; Djokovic, 2008; Djokovic, 2011)
1 French Open (Gaudio, 2004)
0 Wimbledons
2 US Opens (Roddick, 2003; del Potro, 2009)

wow 26-6 is quite amazing.

Nadal might end up with 22 grand slams when it's said and done.

Where is she playing? I can't find her anywhere!
I should leave the WTA updates to you

100K Marseille 1st round: Wozniak def. Cabeza-Candela 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(2).

I follow the Tennis Canada twitter and they are pretty on the ball with this stuff, so I can't take any credit

Milos against Kamke on Sportsnet One right now.. they're approaching a 1st set tiebreak.

Edit: Looks like he straightened his hair!!!!!

Off to the tiebreak!

Edit2: Milos takes the tiebreak 7-2.

I had forgotten how boring grass court tennis is after watching the French Open. No rallies of more than 5 shots.

Ana Ivanovic ... I mean go Marino!

Hopefully Milos keeps going here too, I was expecting him to kill on grass and the draw keeps looking better.

Marino lost 6-3, 6-2 to Ivanovic (it's Matty's fault)

Rough showing for Raonic today. He fell 3-6 7-6 6-3 to Philipp Petzschne. That tie breaker really did him in.

Saw a bit of it. Raonic just not that comfortable on grass yet. Petzschne was the more aggressive player, more accomplished on grass.

With this showing, he will move to 26th in the rankings.

Wimbledon Men's qualifying start's TOMORROW!
128 players, 16 qualifers

http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/score...s/qs/r1s3.html

Three Canadians in the draw.

Peter Polansky is in Section 4 and faces the 4th seed Thomas Schoorel of the Netherlands (that sucks)

Frank Dancevic is in Section 10 and faces the 10th seed Stephane Robert of France. Robert is more a clay court guy so a good chance to advance here.

Vasek Pospisil is in Section 12 and faces Jorge Aguilar CHI. He an experienced clay-courter as well. Pospisil is the last man qualified in this draw.

Dancevic and Pospisil win. Polansky loses.

Polansky won the first set and was up 5-1 in the 2nd set tiebreak.

Wimbledon Women's qualifying starts on Tuesday.
96 players, 12 qualifiers.

http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/score.../us/index.html

3 canadian women in again.. same three that were in the french open.

Wozniak, Dubois and El Tabakh.

Dubois and El Tabakh are both in Section 7. If they were to both win tomorrow they would meet in the 2nd round.

Wozniak is in Section 12 and should get through

Dancevic cruises into the final round, Pospisil is out (still a valuable experience and 8 ATP points for him, he's creeping closer and closer to the top 200)

EDIT:
CORRECTION: El Tabakh won her match earlier this morning and will face Dubois tomorrow. The Wimbledon scoreboard has been on the fritz all day.

Wozniak wins easily, faces Nina Bratchikova of Russia tomorrow for a place in the main draw. A good break as the #12 seed in the section is out.

Dubois defeats El Tabakh, faces Vitalia Diatchenko of Russia tomorrow for a place in the main draw. Also a good break as the #7 seed in the section is out.

Dancevic faces Marco Crugnola of Italy tomorrow in a best of FIVE for a place in the main draw.

Clijsters has pulled out of Wimbledon
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/tennis/13768844.stm

I think this is her last year on tour, so I hope she'll be able to play the US Open. Personally, it might be the only time I can see her play in person.
