Regardless of if people believe its genocide or not, Bagors point is pretty fair. Although I'm sure people are still going to come for him and ignore the valid remarks he is making and just continually bash him for calling it genocide.

Honestly, some people weighing in seem a little racist. If Israel were doing this to a European group of people who were under the control of a terrorist group, the reaction would be different.

It seems the g word triggers a lot of people. To the best of my knowledge I haven't posted anything false, inaccurate or misleading in this thread.

Sure. The death and injuries numbers are open to a margin of error on both sides and they're even going to be moreso moving forward as the main source of data, hospitals and healthcare facilities have basically been destroyed. Not to mention the (for want of a better word) nontraumatic deaths from starvation, disease, infection and lack of access to basic services.

But what's strange is you have posters that have deliberately lied in this thread in order to defend the needless deaths of newborns in hospitals and simply refuse to explain or expand on their lies and that's acceptable to some.

I don't think children being killed is good, ever. There is a choice, and that is for Hamas to surrender and for Palestinians to reject Hamas and move forward. That will save many lives.

The ICJ ruling today on South Africa's complaint is kind of funny because it looks like a 3 sides were satisfied even though no one got what they wanted.

The ICJ made a provisional ruling that refused to order a ceasefire while asking Israel to avoid any actions that could lead to genocide in the future. The Palestinian/South African side sees it as a win that the case wasn't thrown out completely.

I think both sides are actually looking forward to making their case one day, although it could take years before the ICJ will hear both sides and make any kind of final ruling. For now though, they didn't see enough to warrant ordering a ceasefire.

There's also the very obvious option of Palestinians rejecting Hamas, the organization that is sworn to never ending war with Israel.

No one has said peace is impossible. People have said peace is impossible with Hamas, which is true, as Hamas has stated consistently that they will under no circumstances accept a permanent peace agreement of any kind that does not result in the total destruction of Israel.

There is no genocide but there would be if Hamas and their supporters had their way. Rape, murder, ruining their people’s future, Hamas can’t continue. Oddly enough, Israel is the path to success for Palestinians, not the vileness you peddle.
