It's a prank list.

I didn't even look at it, so good guess I suppose.

Jfresh also has the Flames drafting the drummer of U2 at #41. I think he's just having fun.

The only thing less funny than an April Fools type joke on April 1st is one on any other day of the year.

I like Dickinson's toolbox. A good skater/ puck distributor with D first tendencies and a cannon of a shot. By all account in excellent physical condition, coming up from a program that promotes excellence.
I just look at Dickinson, then at Silayev, and Silayev's tools are better in pretty much every way. I don't see how you pick Dickinson, if Silayev is also available.

Demidov would be the dream scenario, but assuming that won't happen (same with Levshunov), my order of favourites would be:

Lindstrom
Silayev
Catton / Helenius

and can totally get on board with Iginla.

I don't expect Lindstrom or Silayev to be around, but I really want to get a 2nd pick so we can get one of Catton or Helenius, along with Iginla

Demidov looks like he is chiseled from solid granite. I would be taking him #2 without hesitation.

Given his newly confirmed size and how well he interviewed, along with Michkov coming over early, I don’t see how Demidov drops to 5. ANA or CLB will take him.

NHL scouts are like girls on Tinder. Once they found out he was over 6 ft, he became much more attractive.

Yes, because - much like Tinder - size matters

(Lindstrom admittedly making me a wee bit nervous as well. Our chief of scouting E-Mac covets big skilled centres. My personal preference (and realistic) would at 9th would be Buium, Parekh, Dickinson, Catton, Iginla; I'd also jump on Demigod Demidov should he increduously drop to our slot)

Yet another update at Upside!

Added:
- as mentioned added Sandman's latest 5 profiles putting us 244 total!
- as mentioned, added Sandman's final "tiers" of prospects (on prospect profile page at the top)
- also added my mock draft to the mock draft page; might try and get a 2-3 round one done today!
- NOTE: the massive spreadsheet has a ton of features in various tabs as well as video links of prospects on the right hand side of the main rankings spreadsheet
- We also now have the Top 64 for the 2025 NHL draft as well!

Happy Draftmas! It's the most wonderful time of the year (extra wonderful thx to Chucky and Benny).

I will admit I don't know enough about all these kids but from watching some video and reading lately I am hoping the Flames draft Helenius or Catton with their first pick. I am sure a lot of people are excited about the Iginla chance, and he is a nice player, but the other two have caught my interest more, both centers with offensive talent and I think Helenius has the defense side figured out also.

So this thread has made me really want:

Parekh/Buium/Catton/Iginla/Lindstrom/Demidov

I would be okay with moving up from 9 (if the flames feel there's a clear standout I support that) in addition to another top 15 pick! Set your expectations high! Let's goooo

Those are probably my big 6 as well, in no particular order. My hunch is that only Catton and Iginla are likely to be there at 9 though.
