Hard to tell because of the distance to the camera but Nylander isn't small. Dubois looks huge. Great little black aces piece ending with Reimer.

We're all agreed that Laine looks like a James Bond villain, yes?

Are you saying he's going to bald because he's got the peaks? I guess it depends as I always had the widows peaks since I was young and still remember when one of my buddies told me I was going bald at 18. Well today I still have a good head of hair and he's bald.

It was a joke based on personal experience. Try to not take the world so literally.

Maybe he's a methodical player instead of a Ferland type that hits everything and is all over the ice but doesn't really do much where it counts. There's no talent needed to skate around like a chicken with it's head cut off.
|
Actually Ferland is at his best when he is running around like a chicken with its head cut off hitting everything. He was the MVP of the Flames Canucks series.
In the regular season when he was being "methodical" is when he didn't do much.

I didn't. You talked about this Swedish thing and I thought well Sundin went full bald so maybe there's something going on there. Now I think about it King Henrik has a really nice head of hair so I'm all confused now.

I feel much more comfortable with Nylander at #6 after the combine, though I have no real idea why as I don't much understand how the specific tests relate to on-ice-performance.
Still, if we take him I won't be upset.

The undersized rumours have been silenced. 6.5 feet 180 pounds is not small, and he will get bigger. I think Nylander plays a similar game to Panarin. Panarin is only 5'11 170. I take a bigger Panarin at 6 and laugh all the way home. No I'm not saying he is a sure thing but I just see him as best pick available most likely.

Feels like after the playoffs and combine Tkachuk and Dubois have put themselves out of reach at the 6th pick.
Nylander/Brown/Jost/Keller are the 4 forwards that intrigue me the most if we can't land any of the top 5. I am less opposed to trading down now if that is the case
