The worst is when someone says 'stop being so bias'. You need that -ed or you are dumb. My scatterbrain grammar is a nightmare when i re-read it.

I took a year of Engineering at university. One of the first-year courses was "Technical Writing". The prof taught spelling and grammar.

Yep. “Speak & Spell” is what we affectionately called the technical writing and presentations class.

Not just Calgary specific, but Eddie Bauer appears to going under (at least Chapter 11, which would let them restructure), and word is they will close almost all retail locations in North America.

I remember the day when an Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer was a peak signifier of success amongst the middle class. In that 90s Hunter Green of course.

Ah ####! I need to load up on a lifetime supply of their fleece lined pants. Those are life changing in a winter climate.

Crap. They had some really good clothes. O bought some travel shirts a few years ago that were so perfect. As wrinkle-free as you could hope for. I could roll them up and pack and couple of them in a backpack and they’d come out looking like somebody just ironed them. Alas of course they discontinued them.

In high school, my friend's highly successful middle class parents bought a gently used Explorer Eddie Bauer off of Sheldon Kennedy.
CD changer and subwoofer in the back, car phone up front - they had it all. At the time I think it was the most expensive car I'd ever been in.
His dad's other ride? A green Honda Del Sol with the monster wing on the back. I was so envious.

My go-to t-shirt is Eddie Bauer. They fit well, and last a long time.
So this sucks.
