Is Ryan Nugent Hopkins much better than an average second line centre?

Larsson and Nurse have been absolute trash, Nurse has been terrible and brain dead since the start of the season.

RNH is a decent 3rd line center with an above average offensive game and a decent defensive game. But he's still softer then pudding. I don't know if I'd want him on my third line, I also don't think he's much of a line driver. He's probably over paid by a bit.

Sekera has been pretty much gone for two years, He's 32 years old and suffered major leg injuries, if Oiler fans think he's going to come back and be able to step into top 3 minutes and have him be effective they're fooling themselves. The only significant injury that they've had is Klefbom, but their lack of organizational depth has exaggerated his loss.

Let's be serious. RNH is a very strong two-way 2C and an upgrade on Backlund. I would love him here in Calgary to center Tkachuk.

Of course the big the talking point is McLottery's tip goal at the end

Quote:
-Scores sick goal and can’t even celebrate

-The whole season has devolved into a Mcpoint watch once again

-Caleb's 1st NHL goal and McD's sweet tip at the end were fun to watch

-At least McDavid picked up a couple more points. Hanging around in the scoring race

-Nice goal by 97
One fan got it right.

**** you, Chiarelli. **** you, Lowe. **** you, MacTavish. **** you, Howson. **** you, Wayne. Nicholson can suck it. **** all of you incompetent boobs.

God I hate this team and I hate hockey.

No he's not, Backlund's defensive game is on a whole other level above RNH

oiler fans complaining that their 2 best defensemen are out. This is true but it doesn't occur to any of them that Klefbom is a 3-4 on any decent team and Russell is a 6-7 who you don't worry about waiving if you need to send him down.

Ryan nothing happens?

The one who makes $6M a year, was a 1st overall pick, that we are debating is a marginal 2nd line c vs good 3rd line C?

Mmm... Ya.

It's been shown, though, that you're a very poor judge of centers.

And even if you were a tiny bit close to being right... never lose site of this thread's purpose.

I thought for sure you'd say The Tenderness is an upgrade on Monahan.

Never a bad time to revisit the "Bobby Nick's Burger."

Spoiler!
Also replied to for additional exposure.
Out of all that two pages of drivel ("we've increased point of sale ratio, meaning there are more spots you can buy this"), the fact that they highlight the line "It's a premium product but anyone can buy it" is laugh out loud funny. Never mind the far too easy comparison to the tier 1 and tier 2 fan connection from that infamous presser, but do they even listen to their own marketing speak? What premium food product can't everyone buy, that this is thus superior to?

The burger costs $14, $20 with fries.

The most amount of work Nicholson has done though in a long time.

9-10-1 after 20 games was enough to get McLellan fired.

They are now 9-7-2 after 18 under Hitchcock, with Winnipeg coming up on Monday. 9-9-2 after 20 is a very real possibility.

0-4-0 on their current 5 game home stand. Can they get the goose egg on Monday to ring in the New Year?

RNH is a poor man’s Backlund... oh, wait, he’s paid more than Backlund.

Like the argument I got in with an Oilers fan on Twitter. He kept trying to tell me Chiasson was a huge loss for them...they have zero clue what good hockey is anymore.
