For the last three years, you've pretty much been forbidden from bringing a family member with you to these sorts of appointments, no? Every single AHS reminder call stated to come alone.
If I'm being told it's okay to bring a family member given that context, I would probably assume it's because it's a change in policy and not because I had something horrendously wrong with me. If you had something wrong with you that needed to be acted on quickly or was particularly severe, I don't think you'd be waiting a month; the doctor would likely get the staff to set a quick follow-up call within the a week or two.
Sure, maybe....or....they just set the appointment for after the 'Drop Dead Date' and the problem just quietly goes away...

I tried Toffifee based on some of you raving about how amazing they are, and I'm going to pull out my giant paintbrush cause I can't remember which thread it was, and say all of CP has lost a tremendous amount of credibility here.
They are utterly dreadful chocolates. Possibly the worst I've ever bought.

Toffifee is delicious and now they have a white chocolate version. If you don't like it, you have the taste of a sweatpant toting Oiler fan. Perhaps a gas station expired KitKat is more your choice?

Mother in law is an abusive c-word. Got invited to Christmas dinner because people are nice. Proceeded to sulk on the couch the entire evening, refused the dinner that I spent all day cook, then blew up at her daughter (my partner), her son, and ex-husband. Mortifying.

****ing bomb of a spoiler on White Lotus season 2 right here on CP. It was in my head the whole show and ended up being massive. Kinda ruined the season as I knew what was happening about half way thru. ****.
Her dying was basically the entire premise of the season in the end and I just had "what's her death going to be" in my mind the whole time. To find out it was the biggest part of the show and they snuck it up and played it in perfectly....if you hadn't had it spoiled was just ****ing annoying.
It would have been better if it was at least a bit part and there was crazier stuff, but seeing how it went down there's no way the poster didn't know what he was doing with that. ****. Thanks, DowninFlames
