I'm not sure. They really need to show the replay again to see the trajectory. Because that still seemed like it was behind the fence.

Yes because it was still called fan interference and I am pretty sure they're kicked out automatically when fan interference is called.

I hate Berrios. I don't blame Berrios for this. In a major league park that's the warning track at most. In a real league that home run is called back.

Tampa continues to be a miserable place for the Blue Jays even without the Trop.

Is it though? Could mean something if we lose enough

In what ####ing universe does it not look like a) the fan is well over the wall and b) Lukes glove is DIRECTLY underneath the fan’s glove. That’s an out all day long.

The fan's glove was in front of Lukes'

It was fan interference, all day every day
There's no way you can tell that ball was going over for sure.

Just a complete disaster by the league

No way. He was clearly holding onto the fence and leaning out. I almost feel like the call got last in a game of telephone with NY or something. Trash.

That’s the thing. The positioning of Lukes glove means it’s either gonna be caught or if the ball’s trajectory was more down than out, then it’s definitely not clearing the wall. Either way that was objectively the wrong call.

That's fan interference again!! --- or whatever you call a home fan knocking a ball back into play. A HR I guess.
