I got served an add last night that if you made a deposit $10 into play Alberta, or whatever that ####ty gambling site is, and made an NHL bet with odds worse than 1.5, they'd give you $50 toward a bet.
I find the online gambling stuff pretty scuzzy, and found the promotion totally predatory. So of course I signed up, used the $50 credit plus my own $10 I deposited to bet on a Leafs win, then immediately withdrew the winnings and closed the account.
Happy to take those predatory bastard's money on behalf of the Oiler's misery and never let them see a dime of mine.

I'm impressed you were able to do that. Typically in the fine print you have to roll over (bet) that bonus money 100x or more to withdraw it.

Was it Ron (Media President of the Oilers Fan Club) MacLean that dreamed up that ridiculous comparison between the 80's Oilers and this year Oilers fluff piece that was on between periods last night. Hilarious!! Going to be so pleased when these bastards crash in the playoffs and shut the media the eff up!!! Never seen such hype for a team sitting in 12th place in the NHL's overall standings. Shouldn't there be at least as much hype for any of the 11 teams that have better records than the Oiler clowns do?
