Some pretty mean unprovoked posts in this thread in the last couple of pages
Not sure why people choose to try someone else like that regardless of it is "real life" or on this forum.

Well he has been posting a lot, with a bunch of not funny gifs.
Did they get infractions, or just a public scolding?

I basically post at the same rate as CC.
It literally amazes me how many times and how many people bitch and moan about the volume of his posts. That Crapishov post in the R3 Caps thread was pure gold.
I can't believe it bothers you THAT much that you need to take the time to write posts about it. I guess you lot just have delicate sensibilities.

Once someone opens the floodgates regarding a grievance with a specific user, it quickly becomes open season around here.
That said, no one should give half a crap what anonymous people on the internet think.

Um... this is a thread about shootings and gun control? I'll thank you not to use violent, gun-based language like that Resolute. I find it upsetting.

Hehe I don’t see anything changing in the US, they take there right to bear arms seriously
Case and point
In Feb I was down with the misses in the Bahamas, small little island. The gentleman who recommended this place to me and my wife offered to take me fishing for the day. Wife decided to stay on the beach so off I went. Just me, the boat owner and his daughter. Was a pretty slow day of fishing so we were all bsing about world events and such. Mass shootings got brought up. Both of them firmly believed that stricter mental health testing before you were able to purchase a firearm. (There both American). I brought up the point is there really a reason to have extended maginizes and high capacity clips? Both of them we’re silent starting at me like I just asked them to put down there dog....
The older gentalman grumbled something about I have never heard of a clip hurting anybody. I decided to change the topic quickly before I had to swim back to Spanish Wells.
So sadly I don’t think anything will change there

Sounds like conversations I've had with the American branch of my family. A few months ago, I was visiting with my uncle and aunt in California the day of the Parkland shooting and I was exasperated and said it's crazy how Americans do not seem to want to do anything about these mass shootings at schools, and they just stared at me, nonplussed. They grumbled how they are doing something, that they caught the guy, and changed the subject. Both are ex-military and own guns themselves. And my uncle and aunt are very reasonable people in every other way -- one voted for Trump, one voted for Hillary -- except when it comes to guns.

Figured I would drop this in here, as these instances inevitably get cited by the 'only way to stop bad guy with gun is good guy with gun' crowd: http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/state...3499bbef1.html

... No seriously, I'm actually not sure given your posting history. Wait, sorry, is this the airing of grievances thread? Did that get merged?

I worked IT for an O&G service company before things tanked, and we had main offices in Calgary and Houston. 2 guys from the Houston office come up for cross training for a week and our discussions were normal, right up until one of them asks what kind of guns I own. They were flabbergasted when I said "None", to then owning guns (they both had multiple firearms) was as common as having a phone, and not having a gun was seen as backwards.
Other than that we got along great, but the sad thing is that a few months later one of those guys killed himself with one of his guns. One dark day and he's no longer around because he had such easy access to a loaded firearm. Made me think about how I might not be here right now if the situations were reversed, as I've battled depression in the past. Might not have been able to resist such an easy "solution" sitting in a cabinet or drawer
