Clearly Wonka is aiming to be a charming holiday outing for families.
I would have preferred a movie for those of us who grew up mildly terrified of Gene Wilder
On the flip side, we know Wonka at the start of CatCF is a sad, lonely, cynical sociopath, so I’m interested in what dark turn this prequel inevitably has to take.

I dont know about this one, but I will say, I actually liked 'The Pope's Exorcist.'
I'm not a 'horror' genre kind of guy and frankly you slap the name 'Exorcist' on almost anything and its practically guaranteed to suck in comparison to the Original, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Its not going to blow you away, but it is what it says its going to be and then delivers that. They didnt have to roll Crowe out with a crane or anything as I was expecting, he was competent and good while I fully anticipated him phoning that in.

No no. A legit sequel to "The Exorcist" is coming.
