I was leaning on team rebuild before but we're all in now.
Flames should be re-signing Weegar and then making a big move for a legit top 6 C/RW.
The window is 3 years.

Well this is going to really help us if we want to sign a free agent top line RW for a year. Definitely a place to rack up points and earn a bigger contract.

Yeah, I really hope the Kadri/Isles rumors were BS and he's just waiting to see if the Flames could remove a future question mark by getting Huberdeau extended.
The outlook for this team's future is much better now. Hopefully a Kadri Flames signing happens now.
And this is coming from a guy who isn't a fan of overpriced UFA's.
He doesn't even have to come in and be an 87 point in 71 games player to make this team better for the next few seasons while they are going for it.

The good thing is I don’t think the Flames have ever been out on Kadri, from what Friedman and Dater have been saying lately.
Add a legit #2 centre like Kadri who can drive his own scoring line and this team is better than last year’s. Deeper at C and D which are the most important positions that Sutter covets the most
We tried Jarnkrok, Monahan, and Ruzicka in that spot last year. No half measures this time, hopefully we can sign Kadri or trade for someone like Necas or Schiefele.
Might be the best time to do it with Huberdeau and Weegar still in the last year of their deals

No kidding. The 1RW spot is basically there for the taking and that player will inflate their market value massively.
Imagine Sutter wants to keep Mangiapane where he has been, in his natural position.

Lets just throw Kessel up there.
A powerplay with Kessel and Lindholm on either side, Monahan in the slot and Huberdeau passing it all around to them should be deadly.
