Exactly how I feel.
Why would we help the oilers with this? NO team in the league will help them with this problem.
Lucic is NO GOOD.
Edmonton is no good.
Trading to get Lucic also a no good suggestion. Must be a fake Flames fan.

Lundqvist was 32 when his current contract started. He had won one Vezina Trophy prior to signing and had not yet taken the Rangers to the Finals. He signed a 7-year deal worth 13.22% of the cap.
Rinne was 30 when his current contract started (his 30th birthday was a month into the season). He had not won the Vezina Trophy yet and hadn't taken the Preds to the Finals yet. He signed a 7-year deal worth 10.89% of the cap.
Even Mike Smith was able to get a 6-year deal worth 8.81% of the cap when he was 31. That was one season removed from the year he finished 4th in Vezina voting and took the Coyotes to the Conference Final.
-----------
Bobrovsky will turn 31 just prior to the start of next season. He has won 2 Vezina Trophies and has had no real success in the playoffs (although, the BJs have had a tough road of it, losing to the eventual Stanley Cup champion in the first round in each of the last two seasons).
Barring a total collapse this season, I don't see any way his next contract's cap hit doesn't start with an 8. If he has some playoff success this year, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes over 9.

Lucic has 2 goals in his last 63 games played
Hathaway has 2 goals in 13 games played this season
Hathaway should be bumping Lucic out of the lineup.

Hathaway also skates circles around Lucic while the big dumb Neanderthal stalks his prey...slowly.

Lucic can't skate.
End of discussion.

There is evidence that Neanderthals were both intelligent and culturally sophisticated. No need to insult them by comparing them to Lucic.

There is, however, no evidence that Neanderthals knew how to skate.
Qualities of Neanderthals:
- Intelligent
- Culturally sophisticated
- Can't skate
Hey, Lucic has one out of three. We'll make a Neanderthal out of him yet!

Amazing, in every deal Calgary gets the best player and makes a cap dump.
Considering each of those players they get could be easily moved without a cap dump.
BoBo could likely be moved easily for multiple draft picks. Without accepting a cap dump in return.

Yeah, reading those proposed trades, I assumed Tre was also throwing in the incriminating photos that he had of each of the rival GMs

Trade call hasn’t happened yet. The sense is this one could be quite complicated purely from a financial/salary cap point of view and so, perhaps more than usual, this is by no means a done deal until it’s done with the trade call.
Stay tuned.
