All smart phones do the same things every other smart phone do.
Some do certain things better than others though. If you want to surf the internet or have some apps on your phone, then an iPhone is clearly a better choice. If you are using your phone for business and email then I think the Blackberry wins out.
Everyone uses their phone differently.

No one I know at my age would even consider an iPhone. I was the only one with one. Most people I know have a cell phone (not even a smartphone), but those that do have smartphones have a BB.
As I have said before, I use my phone mainly for phone calls, texting and email. The BB is perfect for that. The iPhone (to me and in MY opinion - even as an ex-owner) is more of a toy and for surfing, which I find a pain, even on the bigger iPhone screen. Would rather use my computer for surfing.

I say this never having used a BB... why is a BB better for "making phone calls"? Or for e-mail for that matter?
Why would you characterize the iPhone as "a toy" (insinuating it's for little kids) and a BB as more of an adult phone to carry?
Edit: Mind you I probably fit that characterization since I'm a 36 year old man that plays Final Fantasy on his iPhone on the way to work....

Barely broke 300mb on blackberry.

I would say absolutely it is enough data. Unless you're doing a ton of browsing or streaming, I really don't see 1GB being a problem at all.

Well, we've been over this and I think that's enough to derail this thread. It's about the iPhone, so I think we should just stop. It's all my personal opinion as I said. If you want to chat more about the phone differences, come on over to the BB thread...

Significant browsing+email but 0 streaming of video or audio.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Just watch your data in the usage section, and you should be OK.

I had no problems texting or emailing.. or even making calls, for that matter on my friend's iPhone, but that's just me. Some people don't like touch screens though.
Didn't play around with apps as much as I thought I would, though I imagine with my own, I'd have quite a few.

Uh oh.. seems like they're pushing back, that it in fact wasn't a fake email exchange.

And since the person in question uses an online email (Gmail deliciously enough) the headers can't be altered or doctored... So the incontrovertible evidence is there, all they need is for a trusted 3rd party to go in and independently very it and Apple has some serious egg on their face.
If the emails are real and Apple outright lied about them being fake, that's pretty bad PR.. Apple had to know they would get caught though, so why would they say this? But BGR is pretty reliable, so not sure why he would lie either.
I keep telling everyone, one day we'll see Jobs out with his Howard Hughes Kleenex box shoes.

Never dropped a call on my 3GS in Lethbridge with Telus. Only been a few months but service has been very good, data fast, and call clarity great.

I upgraded to OS 4.0 on my iPod Touch, and the battery kept dying really fast. Looks like the Wi-Fi is always on, even in standby mode. So I just disabled it. See what it does now.

Was using the map app in iOS 4 for probably the first time since upgrading.. now THAT was brutally slow.

So it is all in your head that makes a BB better for business.
