Those combine freaks can be good late round picks because if they hit they become good players. The Raiders just ended up taking too many of them in the first round and tipping their payroll scale towards too many bust.
Getting Campbell is a good move for the simple reason that the guys on the team will rally behind him. After two games last year those guys knew they had little chance to win regularly with JaMarcus. Those guys will battle for Campbell, because Campbell is a pretty good competitor himself, he got killed behind that Skins dreadful line but kept wanting to get back out there. Last year JaMarcus would have just sat on the sideline and forced the coach to put the backup behind that line.
That said...JaMarcus with is new trim tight 271 pound body will respond to the competition, win the starting role, lead the Raiders to 11 wins and the playoffs and go to the Pro Bowl, and never set foot inside the Palms Casino ever again.

Kind of sad to see Kirk Morrison go. He's not the greatest against the run which has been a major weak spot for the Raiders over the years but he's a great competitor.

I am absolutely stunned he dropped this far. Happy to see him go to the Titans, quite surprised the Bengals passed on him.

Same here. I thought the Niners would have taken him at some point. Michael Lewis had 3 concussions last year. Mays is listed as a FS, Rolle was listed as a SS.

The Ravens should have taken him instead Ramon Harewood in the 6th round . Who the blank is Ramon?

Titans pick up Montana receiver Marc Mariani.
Jeff Fisher's son plays DB for the Grizzlies, he must have noticed something he liked.

I was sure hoping Rolle was going to fall to 212, just 5 more picks from where we went. The Fins could use safety help, yes they drafted Jones but I think Rolle is a heck of a player.

Really happy with the Eagles late round picks. I really like Ricky Sapp, and I think Riley Cooper is a gutsy player. Clay Harbor should be a decent TE.

Wow, best offseason since Gruden was head coach
the draft picks were all great, getting Bruce Campbell in the 4th round when all the "pundits" thought they would take him 8th overall is hilarious
McFadden is not on the block by the way, the team all ready released a statement that Mortenson was a "proven liar" and McFadden wasn't being moved.
I love the Jason Campbell move as well, 4th round pick in 2012 for him haha
the football prospectus stats guys all last year said he was the most underrated QB in the league last year. And the Raiders beat writers are saying Campbell was told he was the starter, and that JaMarcus will have to take a pay cut or be cut.

Wow I can't believe no one took a flyer on Legarrette Blount. Sure the kid has some questionable character issues but he's got great size, good speed, and put up some great numbers two years ago. I'm calling it now but teams are gonna be kicking themselves in 3-5 years for not taking a flyer on this kid.

My money is that someone will take a flyer on him and sign him shortly.

Yeah hopefully. Before the boise state incident people were talking about him going as high as the 2nd round. You don't just loose talent like that.

It wasn't as though Blount only had one issue though, he looked fat and lazy throughout that whole Boise St. game in which he was terrible and had issues coming into Oregon as well.
His actions in that Boise St. game were enough to probably have some teams not want him, throw in other character issues, especially about his work ethic and it makes sense why teams don't want him.
I don't think he has close to enough talent to outweigh all the negatives that he has, especially with the way the NFL is moving nowadays.

I wasn't far off.
They ended up with...
2 OL
1 DB
2 DL
1 RB
0 LB
0 QB
1 TE
Sort of a vanilla draft for the Packers, although Bulaga was a great value at 23. If James Starks is healed up aftering missing this entire past season with shoulder surgery, he may end up being the steal of the whole draft.
The rest were need picks, sans Quarless, which I suggest ends the Packers career of Donald Lee....unless the club starts to go with a whole lot of 2 TE sets.
I think it ended up with 18 TE's being selected and 15 RB's....when's the last time that happened? Guess it just illustrates how the game has changed.

I don't follow him on twitter but I believe it was Warren who tweeted he has signed with the Jets.
Update from Schefter's twitter:
