I was disappointed to find out it was actually 6-2 when I browsed this thread to see what the reaction was. Followed this thread rather than whl.ca after that, so thanks for the updates guys!

Thanks for that! I did get the stats from whl.ca because the guys on the Brandon feed were't great at the end of the game of updating the stats. Talking instead about the Brandon team.
I believe Kris Foucault received series MVP.

Still way too early to say that considering they haven't even won the WHL yet.
Drummondville won 12 in a row easily in the Q and Windsor has been impressive and played the best team by far of any of the 3 teams, so there are other teams out there that are having similarly impressive seasons as the Hitmen this year alone.
Should be a good Memorial Cup with Rimouski there as the punching bag for the 3 champions.

You think that London is the best team by far of the 3 teams? I picked Windsor to beat them easily and that they did, albeit every game in OT and in 5 games. London was simply too soft. They would have been a last place team in the Mem Cup IF they made it that far.
If the Hitmen make it to the MC this could actually be a pretty decent group of teams to make it.
Windsor will beat either of the two OHL East teams IMO...although Brampton may have the singularily best player.

I think London was the best team that Drumondville, Calgary or Windsor has faced (i.e better than Lethbridge, Brandon, Rimouski etc.) not the best team of the teams mentioned.

Kelowna ties the series at 2-2 with a 3-0 win over Vancouver. Vancouver may be starting to feel the effects of all the OT they've played plus going to 7 games their last series. Vancouver was badly outshot.

The Memorial Cup options are now Rimouski and Shawinigan/Drummondville, Windsor/Brampton, and Calgary/West finalist. For Cody Hodgson's sake, I really don't want Brampton to make it.

Giants maybe without Sexsmith tomorrow night.
Quote:
“We think it’s a 24-hour flu,” said Hay, whose team received a 22-save performance from Sexsmith in Saturday’s 1-0 loss at the Coliseum. “He was OK after the game. Maybe it’s a little bit of dehydration, but he wasn’t feeling very good overnight. We’re leaving him here and he’ll come up first thing in the morning. If he can’t play, then Jamie Tucker will be the starting goalie.”

The funny thing is, some people here have been calling for Tucker to play for weeks. That said, you have to think the Rockets end this thing tomorrow night.

Not half as ugly as Edmonton's military night jerseys..
At least those were one-offs.
Also note that they framed the photo to show off the 40 year old Memorial Cup banners that the Oilers hung to pretend this team has any sort of history.

As far as Brampton goes, those jerseys would be epic if they changed the number of chevrons for how long each player has been in the league... one for a rookie, two for a 2nd year player, etc.

Those are the same people who wanted Hedberg or Auld starting ahead of Cloutier in 2004, then used Cloutier's injury as an excuse when they got their wish and lost anyway...

Vancouver and Kelowna going to OT. Vancouver blows a 4-2 lead late in the 3rd period.

Backlund may have the winner, it's under review.
It counts...Calgary VS. Kelowna Final
